The Trebbiano Fermo DOC BIO by Tenuta Franzona is produced with grapes selected from vines planted since 1975, harvested manually in September to guarantee low yields and enhance the mineral and calcareous characteristics of Trebbiano.
After harvesting, the grapes are pressed and fermented in stainless steel. The wine is bottled as a still, preserving its structure and distinctive mineral notes, without adding bubbles.
The Tenuta Franzona Trebbiano Fermo DOC BIO vineyard is located on the hills of Imola, in the Tre Monti area, rising 125 meters above sea level.
The extremely mineral soil accentuates the minerality of the wine.
The vineyard’s western orientation improves solar exposure, and the local microclimate, characterized by significant night-time temperature variations, facilitates balanced ripening of the grapes.
These conditions are optimal for Trebbiano, giving freshness and a distinctive character to the wine, deeply linked to the territory of Imola.
