Description

Tenuta Franzona’s Mont Frizzante is created through a careful winemaking process. Manual harvesting is followed by soft pressing to obtain the must. Primary fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature, preserving the fruity aromas. The vitality of the bubbles is ensured by a second fermentation, the ‘prise de mousse’, carried out with the Charmat Method in an autoclave. After a short refinement, the wine is filtered and bottled, enhancing its characteristic effervescence and freshness.

The soil of the Mont Frizzante vines at Tenuta Franzona is located in the Imola hills and is characterised by a stratified composition of clay, sand and limestone fragments.

This structure ensures a good balance between drainage and water retention. The minerality of the soil contributes to the complexity of the wine. The vineyards, exposed to the sun and ventilated by evening breezes, favor optimal ripening of the grapes and the preservation of fresh aromas.

These conditions create an ideal environment for Mont Frizzante, which reflects the character of the territory.
