Description
The Rubicone IGP Bianco “Vetropaco” produced using the Ancestral Method, where the secondary fermentation takes place through refermentation in the bottle.
The Albana grapes, harvested late to maximize aromatic expression, undergo pressing and inoculation with indigenous yeasts, followed by maceration in stainless steel for 7 days.
The racking takes place with a residual sugar that allows refermentation in the bottle.
The result is a wine with a fine perlage, ideal for tipping at least twice before drinking to enhance its aromas.
The Tenuta Franzona Trebbiano Fermo DOC BIO vineyard is located on the hills of Imola, in the Tre Monti area, rising 125 meters above sea level.
The extremely mineral soil accentuates the minerality of the wine.
The vineyard’s western orientation improves solar exposure, and the local microclimate, characterized by significant night-time temperature variations, facilitates balanced ripening of the grapes.
These conditions are optimal for Trebbiano, giving freshness and a distinctive character to the wine, deeply linked to the territory of Imola.
