Our Sangiovese di Romagna is produced using organic vines in our farms planted in 1995 and 2000. They are harvested manually and mechanically in the second or third week of September to obtain the right ripeness from the plant.

Vinification method

Once the Sangiovese grapes arrive in the cellar, they are crushed and destemmed. Subsequently, the fermentation is started in stainless steel barrels with a maceration on the skins for 8-10 days. It is then aged in stainless steel and vitrified concrete barrels.

Characteristics of the terrain

Our Sangiovese vineyard is located on the hills of Imola, in the province of Bologna, in the Tre Monti area. It is a hilly vineyard that grows 125 meters above sea level, with a medium-textured clayey soil, typical of our area. The vineyard is developed maintaining an orientation from north to south to maximize the exposure of the bunches to the sun.

Gastronomic combinations

Sangiovese Romagna DOC is a red wine that goes perfectly with red meat dishes. Excellent if tasted in combination with cured meats or aged cheeses.
